Dusty the ZZ Top Fandango Cowboy Hat For more than 5 decades, Dusty Hill was the bassist for the iconic blues/rock phenomenon that was ZZ TOP. He also sang lead on certain songs and back ground vocals on most others, as well as playing the keyboards. It’s his gravely mumbly voice we hear on TUSH, that drives that song. Tush, was the hit from the record, Fandango, which came out in 1975. And when ZZ TOP toured to promote the album, this was the hat style worn by Dusty Hill.
