A blend of ReptiSoil, ReptiBark, and Sphagnum Moss 8-quart bag Tropical Bioblend is a perfect substrate for a Tropical Bioactive Terrarium. It is made from a blend of six different substrates. A ReptiSoil base combines humus, peat moss, sand, and carbon. ReptiBark provides drainage and aeration. Sphagnum Moss is added to retain moisture and boost the humidity. Provides a living space for your "Clean-Up-Crew" to thrive in while also providing nutrients to your plants ReptiBark is small chips of Fir Tree bark that provide drainage and aeration for the soil and prevent compaction making sure that your invertebrates can move about the substrate Sphagnum Moss is added to retain moisture and boost the humidity of your tropical terrarium.  Directions Add substrate to container and mix with water until moist. Squeeze out any excess water. Add BioBlend to your terrarium to create a substrate layer at least 3" in depth.
