ZODIAC STITCH & STACK - SAGITTARIUS

Happy Summer!  In celebration of the Summer Solstice, Haute Energy is thrilled to launch the Zodiac Stitch & Stack Collection. This has been in the works since the cold days of January, and now, let's hit the beach and Stitch & Stack! The self-finishing kit includes everything except the threads (support your local needlepoint shop!): water-resistant pouch, hand-painted zodiac canvas, adjustable cuff (silver is available upon request), mini case (that can double as a jewelry travel pouch) with needle/snag nab-it/threader/crystal, seam ripper, and glue. About the Crystal The double-terminated hexagon is known to be the shape of balance. Beyond its structural and geometric beauty, the opposing points of the crystal work synergistically, simultaneously receiving and emitting energy. Furthermore, I like to think one point draws in the positive energy, while the other point expels the negative energy, serving as a talisman to find your daily balance and positivity. Clear Crystal Quartz Master Healer*Positivity*Balance*Cleansing Tips Continental Stitch is a great beginner stitch and works perfectly for this project. Haute Energy’s favorite threads are Silk Lamé Braid for a little shimmer. You’ll need two packs for the background color and one pack for the zodiac detail. Be sure to stitch the black outline. When selecting your two colors, keep in mind the bolder the better. We recommend a binding stitch on both long ends, and the painted canvas is sized accordingly to accommodate binding for the cuff size. For extra contrast and pop, you can use the zodiac detail threads for the binding stitch as well. The crystal should be added last, and a loop sewn three times is best to secure in the middle of the canvas (center location is marked by a black dot between the two zodiac signs). Happy Stitching & Stacking!
