The Zirdle Bug - Natural merges the classic Girdle Bug nymph with the famous Zonker streamer. This versatile pattern excels both as a nymph under an indicator and as a streamer on a strip retrieve. Anglers typically fish it like a nymph on a dead drift, but then allowing a tight line at the end of the drift before swinging or initiating a strip. Imitating crayfish, minnows, or sculpin, the Zirdle Bug is renowned for attracting large fish. The Zirdle Bug Fly - Natural is tied on a size 8 hook, measuring about 2.5 inches from hook eye to the very tip of the tail.
