Zingo Espresso Blend

Topeca Coffee Roasters' Zingo Espresso Blend brings together exceptional coffees from around the world into a medium roast that defies espresso conventions. Named after Tulsa's legendary wooden roller coaster, this blend delivers the same sense of thrilling momentum—bold enough for milk drinks, nuanced enough to drink straight, and versatile enough to cold brew beautifully. Where many espresso blends lean heavily into chocolate and caramel, Zingo takes a fruit-forward path. The result is an evergreen blend that stays dynamic shot after shot, cup after cup. Tasting NotesExpect jammy blackberry brightness up front, grounded by rich cocoa and finished with warming baking spice. The body is syrupy but not heavy, with a medium acidity that keeps things lively without crossing into brightness overload. The finish lingers with dark fruit and a whisper of cinnamon-like warmth. This is espresso that doesn't demand milk to shine, though it absolutely plays well with dairy or oat if that's your preference. The fruit notes cut through beautifully in cappuccinos and lattes, while the cocoa base keeps things grounded and approachable. Brew MethodsEspresso: Zingo was built for the portafilter. Topeca recommends a 19g dose pulling 40g in 26–30 seconds, though your grinder, machine, and water will have the final say. Dial it in and you'll find a shot that's expressive without being aggressive. Cold Brew: The fruit-forward profile translates beautifully to cold extraction. Expect blackberry and cocoa to dominate, with baking spice rounding out the finish. Pour Over / Drip: Less traditional for an espresso blend, but absolutely worth trying if you enjoy medium roasts with structure and complexity.
