Zephyr is a beginner-friendly modern rail fence quilt pattern designed to use large scraps. Pieced rails are combined to form a pinwheel shape in the finished quilt. There is no sashing or on-point piecing, it's just a clever illusion! Zephyr was designed to use up large scraps from your stash, but is also fat-quarter friendly. Large fabric squares make it suitable for using up novelty fabric too! The pattern includes instructions for two rail sizes and five finished quilt sizes. This is a PDF pattern that includes all instructions for cutting and piecing your quilt top. No special templates or tools are required. The download will also include the "Any Size Zephyr" worksheet to help you create a Zephyr in any size you want!
