Zenith G.F.J. Calibre 135 Bloodstone Limited Edition 30.1865.0135/56.C216

Continuing the traditions of the most awarded movement in observatory chronometry The elegant Zenith G.F.J. brings back to life the legendary caliber 135, the most awarded movement from the golden age of observatory chronometer competitions, reengineered to integrate subtle yet meaningful improvements that enhance its reliability, precision, and overall performance without compromising its essence. Its dial combines signature brick guilloché on the outer ring with a bloodstone jasper centre and a mother-of pearl small-seconds counter. Includes 3 different leather straps: a beige nubuck alligator strap, a green alligator strap and a black calfskin strap. Named for the initials of the maker's founder, Georges Favre-Jacot, this elegant timepiece in platinum resurrects the legendary calibre 135 into the 21st century. This award-winning movement was specifically designed to compete in chronometry competitions. The dial is crafted from lapis lazuli, evoking a starry sky as a reference to the inspiration behind the Maison’s name, and features a “brick” guilloche pattern, representing the facade of the Zenith Manufacture. A tribute to the pioneering spirit that has driven Zenith for 160 years, this refined watch is a true icon of precision. The calibre 135 is the rebirth of the record-setting eponymous calibre - the most awarded movement from the golden age of observatory chronometer competitions. Beating at 2.5Hz, its oversized balance wheel features regulation screws, a Breguet overcoil and a double arrow-shaped regulator. The power reserve of this modern re-engineering has been extended to 72 hours and it now incorporates a stop-second mechanism. Limited Edition: 161 pieces
