Slingco A Type High Strength Cable Grip (9 Options)

Highlights: Works great with one of our Cable Pulling Swivels. Slingco's strongest cable grip designed for heavy-load pulling applications Great for pulling metal wire and synthetic rope The recommended strength for pulling guy or static wire Ideal for overhead transmission and distribution line installation. Galvanized steel construction for durability. Features: Double-weave construction for strong, reliable cable grip Protective shoulders help prevent abrasion during pulling operations Color-coded design for easy size identification Flexible eye compatible with line pulling swivels Suitable for bare or insulated conductors  use with a line pulling swivel that rotates under load to reduce torsion Synthetic rope installation can be simplified using a Slingco feed tube The Slingco A Type High Strength Cable Grip is engineered for heavy-load pulling where strong performance and durability are required. Built from galvanized steel, the device is designed to handle line installation tasks while maintaining long-term resistance to wear and environmental exposure. Its double-weave construction creates a firm hold on conductors or rope, while protective shoulders help reduce abrasion during pulling operations. This design supports reliable handling of both metal wire and synthetic rope, making the tool great for overhead transmission and distribution line installation. This cable pulling grip supports efficient line setup across a range of conductor and rope sizes. The flexible eye allows compatibility with line pulling swivels that rotate under load, helping reduce torsion during pulling operations. A color-coded system allows quick size identification, which simplifies equipment selection when multiple grips are in use. The design can be used with bare or insulated conductors, and synthetic rope installation can be simplified further when paired with a Slingco feed tube. Multiple sizes and part numbers allow the device to accommodate rope diameters from 0.25 to 2.10 inches and conductor diameters from 0.19 to 1.90 inches. Depending on the model selected, approximate break loads range from 7,000 lbs to 67,000 lbs, providing options for a wide range of installation requirements. With a structure designed for stability, compatibility with swivels, and a construction built for repeated field use, pulling operations can be carried out with greater efficiency using The Slingco A Type High Strength Cable Grip.
