Can-Am X3 72" Limit Straps (2017+) | ZBroz Racing

Can-Am X3 72" Limit Straps (2017+) by ZBroz Racing Protect your Can-Am Maverick X3 72"'s CV joints, axles, and suspension components from over-extension damage with the ZBroz X3 72" Limit Strap Kit. Engineered for the 72"-stance X3 chassis (2-seat and 4-seat MAX, 2017 and newer), these heavy-duty straps cap shock droop precisely where it matters — preventing the driveline failures that follow when wheels hang into the air on jumps and drops. Whether you're racing the dunes, jumping desert whoops, or hammering trails, factory droop control alone isn't enough to protect the X3's high-strength driveline. The ZBroz limit strap kit adds bolt-on, race-proven protection at a fraction of the cost of replacing torn boots or snapped axles. Key Features Military-Grade Triple-Stitched Webbing — built for high-impact durability Engineered for 72"-Stance X3 Chassis — matched to factory droop geometry Direct Bolt-On Install — uses factory mount points, no fabrication required Prevents CV Joint, Axle, and Boot Damage from suspension over-extension Powder-Coated Billet Hardware — corrosion-resistant for any climate Race-Proven Construction — developed in ZBroz's professional desert racing program Built To Solve Maverick X3 72 inch shocks topping out when the car unloads at speed. CV joints getting hammered on jumps, ledges, dune transitions, and fast whoops. Shock shafts taking repeated abuse from full-droop hits. Hard top-out clunking when the wide X3 gets light through chop. Stretched straps that no longer keep droop controlled on a 72 inch setup. Best For 2017+ Can-Am Maverick X3 72 inch and X3 MAX 72 inch owners. Dune and desert riders using the wide X3 platform aggressively. Drivers who jump, charge whoops, or run fast chop with the suspension unloaded. Long-travel-style builds where CV and shock-shaft protection matter. Owners replacing worn straps before another hard desert or dune trip. Specifications Front + rear limit strap set Triple-stitched military-grade nylon webbing Billet aluminum mounting hardware, powder-coated Direct fit on factory X3 72" mount points Engineered for 72"-stance X3 chassis geometry Designed and manufactured by ZBroz Racing in the USA Fitment Can-Am Maverick X3 72" (2017 and newer) Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX 72" (2017 and newer) Direct fit on factory mounting points Not compatible with the 64"-stance X3 or X3 MAX Frequently Asked Questions Will these fit the 64" X3 or X3 MAX? No — this kit is sized specifically for the 72"-stance X3 chassis. The 64" X3 platform uses different droop geometry and requires ZBroz's dedicated 64" limit strap kit. Do I really need limit straps on my X3 72"? If you ever leave the ground — jumps, drops, whoops, dune cresting — yes. Without limit straps, suspension over-extension can torque CV joints past their angle limits, tear boots, and snap axles. They're cheap insurance against expensive driveline repairs. Will they fit both the 2-seat X3 72" and 4-seat MAX 72"? Yes — the 72" X3 and 72" X3 MAX share the same chassis architecture and mount points. One kit covers both. Are they compatible with aftermarket radius rods or A-arms? Yes in most cases. The kit mounts to factory chassis points, so most aftermarket suspension components are compatible. If you're running a full long-travel kit with modified geometry, verify clearance before installing. Is installation DIY-friendly? Yes — typical install is 30-45 minutes with basic hand tools. Mounting points are stock locations; the kit includes all hardware. No drilling or fabrication required. Why ZBroz Racing ZBroz's professional racing program runs limit straps in real desert competition before bringing them to market. Every strap in this kit is built from the same military-grade webbing and billet hardware used on their race trucks — engineered for the abuse that ends ride days for less-protected machines.
