Yunnan Tea Brick

Our Yunnan Tea Brick is a unique tea offering that makes a great display and conversation piece. Since it consists of compressed Yunnan black tea, it can be brewed and served! Prior to the ancient Ming Dynasty, the concept of compressing Chinese black tea into bricks was very common, as it allowed for easier storage of the precious tea leaves. When manipulated with a small utensil, the loose tea leaves can be broken off the compressed tea brick and then brewed. **Product size change as of August 2024: 7.25 in. tall x 4.75 in. wide x .75 in.
