Ystudio Classic Black/Brass Mechanical Pencil

A mechanical pencil that reveals its architecture through contrast. Ystudio built this from solid brass, then coated the barrel in matte black—but left strategic brass elements exposed where function meets form. The clip, knock mechanism, and accent details catch light against the dark body, creating a play of metallic warmth against shadow. The hexagonal profile references wooden pencils while delivering the balanced weight of machined metal. The 2.0mm lead makes bold, decisive marks suited to sketching or sustained thinking on paper. What starts as crisp black-on-brass detailing will evolve over time as the coating wears at contact points, gradually exposing more brass beneath—a kind of reverse patina that maps your hours of work. The end cap houses a sharpener built for the lead diameter. This is a tool designed to show its use, to accumulate visible history. Takes 2.0mm leads | Brass with black coating | 3.8" × 0.4" × 6.2" | Integrated sharpener | Gift boxed
