Yooperlite Rabbit

This Curator’s Choice Yooperlite Rabbit carving measures approximately 4.65" tall x 2.8" wide. Yooperlite is the trade name for syenite that contains fluorescent sodalite, often sourced from the Lake Superior region. In daylight it looks like an ordinary gray stone, but under a 365nm long-wave UV blacklight, it reveals a vivid orange-yellow glow (UV light required). Each rabbit is one-of-a-kind, so markings and glow patterns will vary—hand-selected for a great display piece. You will receive one Yooperlite Rabbit, similar to those pictured, each with its own unique pattern and coloration.
