Yonex BG-80 Badminton String , Sky Blue

The Yonex BG-80 in Sky Blue pairs a hard-feeling, explosive response with a bright, refreshing cosmetic finish. Engineered with high-modulus Vectran fibers braided around a firm multifilament core, its 0.68 mm gauge provides exceptional tension retention, heavy smash power, and crisp feedback that aggressive players depend on. Performance Profile Repulsion Power (8/10): Explosive power delivery driven by the stiff Vectran fiber integration. Durability (7/10): Solid wear life for a hard-feeling string, holding up well under high-tension impact. Control (8/10): Rigid string bed offers direct, predictable shuttle feedback for accurate drives and sharp slicing. Hitting Sound (7/10): Produces a deep, solid, and punchy thud on full-power smashes. Shock Absorption (6/10): Firm, solid contact feel that prioritizes immediate energy transfer over soft vibration dampening. Best Suited For Power Attackers & Hard Hitters: Players who prefer a stiff string bed that maximizes energy transfer into heavy smashes. High-Tension Stringing: Competitors who string at higher tensions and need Vectran fibers to minimize tension loss over time. Control & Drive Specialists: Players who want direct, firm feedback rather than a soft or springy trampoline effect. Bright & Refreshing Aesthetics: The vibrant Sky Blue colorway offers a clean, modern look that pairs exceptionally well with black, white, navy, or matching light blue racket frames.
