Designed, fabricated, and assembled in the USA, the YS480S combines heavy-duty steel construction, advanced digital control, and true direct-flame grilling in one versatile pellet grill. Competition Cart Built for Movement and Stability The YS480S Competition model features a custom competition cart equipped with wire shelves, oversized 8-inch casters, and flat-free tires for smooth movement across patios, driveways, and event grounds. Integrated tie-down points make trailering and transport secure and straightforward. This cart doesn’t just improve mobility—it reinforces the rugged, professional look Yoder Smokers is known for. Advanced Control with the ACS System At the heart of the YS480S is the Yoder Smokers Adaptive Control System. This digital controller features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to monitor and manage your grill directly from your phone using the FireBoard-powered app. Two integrated food probes are included for real-time temperature monitoring, while the ceramic ignition system delivers fast startups and long-term reliability. True Direct-Flame Grilling and Low-and-Slow Smoking The YS480S is built to handle a wide range of cooking styles. With the ability to configure the grill for direct-flame cooking, you can achieve steakhouse-level searing temperatures near 700°F—a capability most pellet grills cannot match. At the same time, the YS480S excels at low-and-slow smoking. Whether you’re running a 12-hour brisket cook at 250°F or roasting poultry, temperature stability remains consistent and dependable. Generous Cooking Capacity With 800 square inches of total cooking space and nearly 12 inches of vertical clearance, the YS480S easily accommodates large cuts of meat and multi-level cooks. From briskets and pork butts to beer-can chickens and turkeys, this grill offers flexibility without crowding. American-Made Quality and Warranty The YS480S is proudly made in the USA and backed by Yoder Smokers’ industry-leading warranty. The cooking chamber is covered for 10 years, while the ACS controller and ceramic igniter are each covered for 3 years. This level of coverage reflects the confidence Yoder Smokers has in their materials, craftsmanship, and long-term performance.
