Yoder Smokers YS1500S, Backyard Stand

Offset-Inspired Performance. Pellet-Fired Precision. For years, the YS1500S has served as the flagship of the Yoder Smokers pellet cooker lineup. Trusted by competitors, caterers, restaurants, and serious backyard cooks alike, the YS1500S has earned its reputation through uncompromising construction, exceptional cooking capacity, and its ability to serve as a competition pellet grill, catering smoker, and high-capacity backyard cooking platform. Built in Kansas from heavy-duty American steel, the YS1500S represents the same commitment to craftsmanship and performance that has defined Yoder Smokers from the beginning.  At the core of the platform is a fully welded 10-gauge steel cooking chamber paired with Yoder's Adaptive Control System (ACS), delivering precise temperature control, integrated food probe capability, and the reliability required for demanding cooks. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, powered through integrated FireBoard® technology, provide cloud-based monitoring and control, allowing users to track temperatures, manage cooks remotely, receive alerts, and monitor performance from virtually anywhere. The patented Heat Management System allows users to transition seamlessly between low-and-slow smoking, roasting, baking, and direct grilling while creating multiple cooking zones across the pit. With up to 1,500 square inches of cooking capacity, the YS1500S can handle everything from backyard gatherings and competition barbecue to catering operations and commercial food production. Combined with a large-capacity pellet hopper and exceptional thermal retention, the YS1500S is designed to perform consistently through long cooks, changing weather conditions, and heavy production schedules. Unlike many pellet grills that are designed primarily around convenience, the YS1500S was engineered to deliver cooking characteristics more closely associated with a traditional offset wood-fired pit. Its large offset firepot, patented Heat Management System, and carefully engineered airflow design work together to create even heat distribution, efficient combustion, and the clean-burning wood-fired environment serious pitmasters demand. The result is a pellet cooker capable of producing the flavor profile, bark development, and cooking performance that barbecue enthusiasts traditionally associate with offset smoking while delivering the consistency, control, and convenience of modern pellet-fired technology. Built for High-Volume Cooking With up to 1,500 square inches of cooking space, the YS1500S is designed for cooks who routinely need more capacity than a traditional backyard pellet grill can provide. Whether preparing multiple briskets, large quantities of ribs, catering event menus, competition turn-ins, or feeding large groups, the YS1500S provides the cooking surface necessary to manage high-volume cooks without sacrificing temperature consistency or control. Mounted on a purpose-built Backyard Cart, the YS1500S becomes an ideal solution for users who want flagship-level cooking capacity on a dedicated cart platform. The cart provides a stable, mobile foundation while maintaining the clean, purposeful appearance expected from a premium cooking platform. Large pneumatic tires and heavy-duty casters allow the cooker to be repositioned as needed, while integrated storage and workspace help keep tools and accessories organized and within reach.  Whether serving as the centerpiece of an outdoor entertaining area, supporting a competition team, or providing the capacity needed for catering and large family gatherings, the YS1500S delivers the legendary performance that has made it one of the most respected pellet cookers in the industry. For cooks who have outgrown traditional backyard pellet grills, the YS1500S offers the capacity, durability, and versatility required to confidently cook for larger groups, events, competitions, and commercial applications.
