Yoder Smokers Charcoal Basket for Offset Pits

The Yoder Smokers Charcoal Basket for Offset Pits is a convenient accessory that extends your charcoal burning time for up to 8 hours in your offset smoker with minimal effort. Using the basket is easy and straightforward. To get started, simply drop the charcoal basket into the bottom of your firebox with the wood grate removed. Fill the basket with unlit charcoal, ensuring it's evenly distributed. Next, add lit charcoal to the damper end of the firebox, creating a gradual burn as it progresses through the unlit charcoal. To maintain your desired cooking temperature, adjust your dampers accordingly. This setup allows for efficient and consistent heat distribution throughout your offset smoker, giving you the flexibility to focus on your cooking without constant charcoal monitoring. Whether you're smoking low and slow or grilling at higher temperatures, the Yoder Smokers Charcoal Basket ensures a reliable and extended charcoal burn time for your offset pit.
