Lithograph Our Gift To You ~ 'The Art of Peter Max' unsigned hardcover, coffee table, art book delivered with your order of a Lithograph. Website orders only and for a limited time. A limited edition graphic print on fine archival paper. One from a numbered edition of 500 signed by Peter Max. The printing art forms are as important to Peter Max as his painting process and they have been central to his work throughout his career.  This joyous and vibrant graphic print features an iconic drawing from Max's signature 1960s 'Cosmic Art' period - an era of works that inspired and captured the zeitgeist of a generation and brought the artist international acclaim.  In 'Year 2250 II,' meditative sages, remembrances of the artist's childhood in Shanghai, watch an extravaganza of Chinese 'junk' boats sail on an endless lake as spacecraft orbit by celestial bodies, and a thunderous sun rises on a horizon of mountains and pyramids. 'Year 2250 II' is a fantastical dreamscape filled with color, hope and imagination.  2003 15.437 x 13.5 inches ©ALP, Inc.
