The powder consists of indigo plant extracts, synthetic indigo, an alkaline agent, and a reducing agent. Once mixed with water, it is instantly ready to use as a dip dye. The 10 gram size makes a dye vat of 2-4 liters in volume. The 30 gram size makes a dye vat of 6-12 liters in volume.
