Common Questions About The Yamaha YFL-462H What does the B footjoint change compared to a C footjoint? A B footjoint extends the flute’s range down to low B and adds slightly more tube length, which can influence resistance and color; many advancing players prefer it for expanded repertoire and a more grounded lower register. What is the material and finish on the YFL-462H? The YFL-462H has a sterling silver body with silver-plated components, delivering the feel and response associated with an upgraded body material while maintaining Yamaha’s consistent mechanism design.
