Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Extender

LongArm Truck Bed Extender The Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Extender is the essential hauling solution for pickup owners who regularly transport kayaks, canoes, lumber, ladders, and other long loads that exceed the length of a standard truck bed. Mounting securely to a standard 2-inch receiver hitch, the LongArm extends your effective cargo reach by up to 5 feet, giving oversized gear a stable, supported second point of contact that keeps loads level, secure, and road-legal. Whether you're shuttling a sea kayak to the put-in or hauling materials to a job site, the LongArm transforms your truck into a capable hauler without the need for a trailer. The LongArm features a heavy-duty steel construction with a corrosion-resistant finish built to withstand years of outdoor use and the rigors of regular loading and unloading. An integrated tie-down system and adjustable crossbar provide multiple anchor points to cinch gear down firmly, while the receiver-mounted design keeps the extender low and stable to minimize sway at highway speeds. The extender folds up when not in use, so it stays on the hitch and out of the way without blocking access to the bed or taking up storage space. Engineered to Yakima's exacting standards for fit and durability, the LongArm is compatible with most standard 2-inch receiver hitches and pairs seamlessly with Yakima's lineup of kayak carriers, saddles, and tie-down accessories for a complete hauling system. With a robust weight capacity and a design focused on simplicity and reliability, the Yakima LongArm is the straightforward, no-compromise answer for truck owners who haul big gear and need a solution that keeps up with the load.
