| Home | Innova | Nova | Color: Cyan/Red speed: 2 glide: 3 turn: fade: The Nova, a straight-flying Aviar-type putter, is the first disc in the Innova lineup that utilizes the overmold technique which combines two different plastic blends to provide a unique flight and feel. The outer rim consists of a very soft grippy plastic that grabs the chains. The inner flight plate is firm, but tacky. (Thus, XT is the designation for this new combo plastic.) This tall two-piece putt and approach disc is described as having the high-speed stability of the Big-Bead Aviar with minimal low-speed fade. The Nova is the perfect finesse disc that can handle the power of “modern players”, while providing precision accuracy. The unique thing about the Innova Nova compared with other overmold discs is that it has slits approximately one inch apart throughout the rim. Diameter 21.3cm Height 2.7cm Rim Depth 1.5cm Inside Rim Diameter 19.1cm Max Weight 176.8gr Dominess: 3 XT Innova XT is a tough blend of Pro that was originally designed for the Nova. It worked so well, it spread to other models. Grip is off the charts and durability falls somewhere between Pro and Star. XT is more firm than Yeti Pro, and less firm than KC Pro with a unique grip that feels great in the hand, and helps stop the disc quickly when landing. Innova In 1983 Innova created the world's first disc designed specifically for the sport of disc golf. They established themselves as a leader in design and innovation. Now, Innova is the most popular brand in disc golf and has the perfect mold/plastic combo in their lineup for any shot you can imagine. | Home | Innova | Nova |
