XLAB Rocket Pocket Bag

If you like to have a place up front where you can carry your nutritional items, but don’t really feel the need to be able to fit a huge energy bar at your fingertips, then the XLAB Rocket Pocket Bag will suit your requirements. Slightly smaller dimensions than its extra-large brother will make it a little less obtrusive, especially if you ride a smaller frame. Once you attach this onto your bike with the straps and rubberized bottom, the most important thing you’ll want to be certain about is that the zipper will actually open and close easily even when you are in the heat of a race. After you try the super slide grip, you won’t have to worry anymore, since you will be able to unzip and zip your Rocket Pocket more easily than you can your jersey. It is designed to hold most full-sized energy bars and several gels, plus there is a separate compartment for smaller items like tablets. You can feel confident in using the Rocket Pocket as well since it provides an aerodynamic benefit by filling the aero void caused by the stem and headset. It has been shaped at a 72-degree angle to fit snugly up against the stem. Even the material used has been chosen for its aero qualities. An extra-long front strap will make it possible to attach the bag to any bike with a beefy headset or cables entering the top tube behind the headset. Instead of a typical black interior, XLAB has made it silver so that you will be able to see the contents quickly and not have to fumble for your preferred gel or bar. There is a stretch mesh pocket in a contrasting red to store your mobile phone, salt tablets, cash and other small essential items. The interior sides have been made from insulating material, so that even on the hottest days, your nutrition supplements will still be edible. In fact, the silver interior helps to reflect the heat away. The XLAB Rocket Pocket Bag is 6.3 inches long by 3.3 inches deep by 1.5 inches wide. When you strap it on, XLAB suggests you cut the excess strap rather than tuck it under, since tucking it under will reduce the grip of the bag. Even though the Rocket Pocket weighs just 54 grams, you’ll still be able to have all your most important items right at your fingertips.
