xDuoo XD-05 Basic2 DAC/Amp

Portable power. Flexible formats. Plug in and play anywhere. The xDuoo XD05 Basic2 is a compact, do-it-all DAC and headphone amp for listeners who split their time between home, work, and everywhere in between. It’s made for people who want the flexibility to run wired or wireless, desktop or portable, without sacrificing sound quality. With 750mW of output power, Bluetooth 5.4, digital volume, and user-swappable op-amps, it gives you the tools to drive demanding headphones, tweak the tuning, and travel light. Desktop or backpack? Both. The XD05 Basic2 runs on battery or DC power, making it just as capable on your desk as in your bag. Plug it into the wall for extended listening and stronger drive power—or go wireless when you’re on the move.  750 milliwatts per channel with low distortion With up to 750mW of output per channel and high/low gain settings, the Basic2 handles everything from IEMs to full-size headphones.  PCM, DSD, and MQA support The Basic2 handles PCM at 384kHz, DSD256, and fully unfolded MQA files. The internal CS43131 DAC chip is capable of decoding up to 32-bit audio while preserving subtle detail, clarity, and dynamics. LE Audio Bluetooth 5.4 The latest generation of Bluetooth—LE Audio 5.4—means faster transmission, lower latency, and improved sound. It supports both new and traditional formats like LC3, LDAC, aptX Lossless, and more. 124dB SNR With a signal-to-noise ratio of 124dB, the Basic2 gives you a pitch black background. Musical details stand out clearly, with no hum, hiss, or noise. Digital volume done right Digital volume control eliminates the common issue of channel imbalance at low volumes. With 99 levels to dial in, you can get the exact right volume for sensitive IEMs or demanding full-size headphones without channel mismatch. Onboard EQ and bass boost Need more impact during movies or bass-forward tracks? Flip on the +6dB bass boost to give your headphones extra low-end energy. It’s easy to toggle in the settings and just as easy to turn off when you don’t need it. Swap the op-amp The op-amp chip is socketed and replaceable—no soldering required. Try different op-amps to tune the sound to your liking. Portable, compact, and road-ready Roughly the size of a paperback and weighing under 1lb, the XD05 Basic2 fits into most bags and backpacks with ease. Use it at home, at work, on a plane, or in a hotel room.
