X4 Rear Mounting Arm

Rear Mounting Arm X4 Designed Around Lighting Position and Display Integration Lighting performance depends on more than fixture output alone. The position of a light source above the aquarium influences coverage, spread characteristics and how illumination interacts with the aquascape below. The Rear Mounting Arm X4 was developed to create a stable mounting structure while integrating lighting into the aquarium with minimal visual disruption. Rather than relying on suspended wires or improvised mounting solutions, the arm establishes a controlled positioning system that supports consistent light placement and a cleaner overall presentation. The result is improved mounting stability with a refined display appearance. Position Influences More Than Placement Lighting geometry affects how illumination spreads throughout the aquarium. Height and position influence distribution patterns, shadow development and the way light reaches different regions of the layout. Stable positioning helps preserve intended coverage characteristics while maintaining consistency throughout long-term operation. For planted aquariums and display systems, lighting placement becomes part of the overall system design. Structural Stability Supports Long-Term Performance Lighting systems operate continuously above the aquarium and require dependable support. The rigid aluminium construction was developed to provide structural strength while maintaining a slim visual profile. This creates a stable mounting platform while reducing flex and preserving alignment over time. Built Around Cleaner Aquarium Presentation Aquascaping frequently aims to minimise distraction and preserve immersion. The rear-mounted design creates a suspended floating appearance while reducing visible hardware around the aquarium. Attention remains on plants, livestock and hardscape rather than mounting equipment. Optional euro brace accessory available when selected DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS HERE
