X-Trace Pivot 2.0 Extended Strap

No Touring Boots Required. No Groomed Trails Needed. Just Go. The Experience: The X-Trace Pivot 2.0 is unlike anything else in the HAGAN lineup — a universal binding adapter that opens up ski travel to virtually anyone with a flexible-soled boot and a desire to move through winter terrain efficiently. Compatible with hiking boots, trekking boots, cold weather expedition footwear, and virtually any other flexible sole, it removes the single biggest barrier to casual ski touring and winter exploration: the need for dedicated ski boots. Whether you're checking trap lines, approaching a low-angle drainage, breaking trail to a backcountry hut, or crossing open fields on a winter day when the groomed trails feel too constraining, the X-Trace Pivot gets you there without asking you to invest in a full touring setup first. The Pivot evolution adds an articulating joint in the base plate for a more fluid, natural stride — making long days on flat and rolling terrain noticeably more comfortable — alongside a wider, taller toe piece for enhanced stability and even broader boot compatibility. Proven on polar expeditions and built to handle the most demanding cold weather environments, it is as durable and reliable as it is simple to use. The natural companion to the Offtrace and Offlimits skis, it can technically be mounted to any ski — even roller skis — making it one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the winter sports world. Note that the X-Trace Pivot requires a flexible-soled boot to function correctly — it is not compatible with rigid alpine, telemark, or non-flexing footwear of any kind.
