Gauge Swatch Ruler

We're so thrilled to offer these WPI Gauge Rulers as part of our new wooden knitting tools line. They are handmade in the USA by a woman maker/small business owner. This  gauge swatch ruler easily clips onto your knitting bag or key ring with a brass clasp. The gauge, which measures 3x3 inches is made from maple wood and has a two inch ruler and a five centimeter guide. To use the tool, hold it up against your stitch work and count how many stitches fit inside the cut out area. By placing the tool over your work you can see how many stitches you have per inch and per centimeter. The bottom slot measurements are in inches and side slot measurements are in centimeters. The bottom is used for stitch gauge and side is used for row gauge. Side note: If you need more stitches per inch, swatch with smaller needles and if you need fewer stitches per inch, swatch with larger needles.
