Whirlpool Dryer Belt (WP33002535)

The Whirlpool Dryer Belt transfers power from the motor to the drum so the drum turns at the correct speed during a cycle. It wraps around the drum and runs through the idler pulley and motor pulley to keep tension and traction while the dryer runs. The belt can fail from normal wear, heat exposure, and repeated start-stop cycles. Over time it may stretch, glaze, crack, fray, or split. A seized drum roller, stuck idler pulley, or a drum that is hard to turn can also overwork the belt and cause it to break sooner.
