WOW Jute Bag

The Jacksons bags are handmade with 100% jute, which is a strong plant grown locally in Bangladesh. The nature of this material means that the bags can withstand intense use and the test of time. And after a long and happy life, they can biodegrade on the compost. Because each bag is handmade, it makes each one unique and not one bag is exactly the same.  In a nutshell, these bags are the perfect option for a fun but mindful shopping alternative, as you can take them  to cary your holiday essentials, your everyday go-to, or for shopping and traveling. They are a joyous stylish feature for your wardrobe or even as home decor.  The Jacksons work with talented handicraft women in rural Bangladesh. The women have the option to work at the community centre or at home to fit in with their family lives'. The women are paid directly. We're proud to support the education, healthcare and livelihoods of the craftspeople in Bangladesh. Another benefit of jute is that it is very strong- our bags can carry between 10 kgs -14 kgs. Each bag contains 450m of jute. These jute bags are handmade and no machinery is used at all throughout the process, except for the dying. Only Azo free dyes are used. peri & khaki with natural body - Roughly 43cm x 33cm x 10cm - 14cm handle drop
