Cosmic Tree -- Rainbow Obsidian & Bronze

Cradled in an embrace of arboreal bronze, this disk of rainbow obsidian is as smooth and vast night sky. Rainbow Obsidian is mysterious stone formed from volcanic glass, predominantly black with a blue-green-gold aura that varies from stone to stone. Sacred to the ancients, it was used in ceremonial tools and scrying mirrors, and was seen as window into higher realms. The World Tree is a universal motif found religions modern and ancient, including Norse, Turkic, Hebrew, Mongolian, Hindu, and Native American cultures, and this piece is our celebration of that mythological convergence. The Great World Tree holds the cosmos in the complexity of its branches, connecting and uniting all as One. The smaller Gold Obsidian is also pictured. Chain is not included and may be purchased from our chains section.
