World Cup Hosta

(Mature Size: 30"T x 48"W) American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year 2018, Deeply cupped gold leaves reach up to the sky. Corrugated leaves have nice white backsides that stand out due to the upright habit. This hosta has everything! Interesting habit with cupped and corrugated bright gold leaves. Mark Zilis chose this seedling out of Doug Beilstein's seedling patch after winning an auction with the right to choose 20 seedlings. He chose wisely! Registered as being 19"T x 39"W but Mark Zilis has it listed as 28"T x 40"W in his "Field Guide to Hostas". Depending on location and soil quality growers should expect between 20-30" tall. Pale purple flowers in summer. Why Should I Grow It? Beautiful upright mound with cupped yellow leaves. (D. Beilstein/M.
