Wool Log Cabin Quilt with Embroidery

This unusual Windmill Blades Log Cabin quilt is an unlikely pairing with the alternate embroidered blocks. Somehow, it works. The quilt is entirely made of wool (front and back) with the exception of the satin bows separating the blocks. The embroidered designs are all floral with the exception of an owl and what may be a fawn. Condition is excellent. Made circa 1890; Pennsylvania origin. Measurements are 60" x 74".
