Wooden Spurtle Set

Using Your Lancaster Wooden Spurtle Set Spurtles were originally designed in the Highlands of Scotland in the 1400s. They are still popular today and were originally created for stirring porridge. Our take on the original design has lead to an elongated kitchen tool that can still be used for making oatmeal but also serves many other uses in the 21st-century kitchen. The Lancaster Cast Iron spurtle set comes as your choice of two or three spurtles. The set of two includes one large spurtle as well as a slotted spurtle. The 3 set features an additional mini spurtle. One of the greatest multi-taskers in the kitchen, spurtles can replace almost any cooking utensil. Spurtles are ideal for stirring batter, whisking eggs, frying omelets, icing cakes, straining veggies and so much more. Set of Two: 12” long and 2" wide long spurtles, regular and slotted Set of Three: 12” spurtle, 12” slotted spurtle, 10” long and 1.5" wide mini spurtle Excellent for straining, mixing, stirring, and whisking Made from Pennsylvania Black Cherry Made in Lancaster, PA
