Excellent tool for babies to develop: - Feeling, examining the components of the sorter, babies learn what shape is, develop hand-eye coordination and improve finger sensitivity. - To understand exactly how to sort the shapes, they need to understand the relationship between the shape of the small part and the shape of the hole. This teaches the child to plan orientation. - The little handles on the figures serve another purpose. The kid takes the figurine using three fingers: thumb, forefinger, middle.
