Our Turkish coffee maker “cezve” (pronounced “jazz-vah”) is unique and hand made by experienced artisans in Turkey, using heavy thick copper. Copper, the choice of gourmet professionals for cooking, is considered the finest practical conductor of heat. It is coveted for its ability to quickly bring water to a boil and requires only low to moderate heat to obtain the best results. This 10 oz. coffee pot makes 2-4 small cups of coffee. DescriptionCopper pots are easy to care for (instructions will come with your pot), but cleaning with a soft, damp cloth or sponge is usually all that is needed. Each of our pots is lined inside with tin, for durability and ease of cleaning. The color may vary on the handle, since each wood handle is turned on a lathe and individually stained.
