PREMIER QUALITY WOOD FOR GATHERING

PREMIER QUALITY WOOD FOR GATHERING     MIXED HARDWOOD for Warmth If you’re looking for the best wood to provide the perfect amount of warmth from your Sea Island Forge Fire Kettle look no further. From the Kiln to your Kettle, our partner, Premier Firewood Co., uses only the best species and cuts of wood that guarantee a reliable, evenly burning fire every time. The perfect compliment to scary stories over s’mores or simple conversations around the fire kettle, our MIXED HARDWOOD wood for warmth is one of the easiest ways to Spark Something Good™ in your life. This NORTHEAST HARDWOOD BLEND consists of oak, maple, hickory, cherry, ash, and beech. This perfect mix provides an excellent source of hear, and a blend of many distinct aromas and flavor profiles.  NOTE:  Hardwoods burn hotter and longer than soft woods, which should be avoided. The benefits of KILN DRIED Wood: Premium cooking woods should all have a moisture content no greater than 20%. This is why kiln-dried firewood is the optimal choice for leading chefs. Wood that is otherwise too green (and therefore likely has a higher moisture content), will smolder and produce acrid smoke, which can really ruin a mood. On top of being extremely easy to light and burn, kiln dried firewood is energy efficient, which is good for your wallet and your comfort. As compared to the traditional choice of seasoned wood, our kiln dried firewood produces up to 35% more heat, providing optimal heat from your Kettle-Style Fire Pit. ADDITIONALLY... Our firewood is clean, with no bugs, insects, molds, or other contaminants ... and unlike some traditional types of firewood, kiln dried firewood produces less creosote, so you can spend less time maintaining your Kettle, and more time Gathering 'Round and making memories.
