Wolfteeth Tanto

Everyday carry practicality with a bite. The wolfteeth ring knife was designed to be your everyday carry companion. This blade is light and compact, yet strong and versatile to make it a joy to carry and use. In the city or on the trail, it is small and capable, and there is absolutely no reason not to have it on you at all times. The Wolfteeth Tanto comes with a 2.75 inch long high flat grind tanto blade. Our choice of steel is 14C28N which provides good edge retention, ease of sharpening and high toughness together with great corrosion resistance. Thickness at the spine is .180 inch for added comfort and strength. The handle is removable G10 with stainless fasteners. Use it with the G10 handle for comfort, remove the handles and use it skeleton for the lowest possible signature, or customize it for yourself and wrap it with `550 paracord for the best comfort and weight ratio as well as for a unique look. The ring at the end of the handle is designed to be comfortable with thin gloves, or without gloves in either “forward edge”, or “reverse edge out” grip. At the end of the ring there is a rounded breaking pommel for striking or finger support, depending on your grip. The knife is heavily rounded on all sides for user comfort. All CobraTec Knives are backed by our LIFETIME WARRANTY. Wolfteeth Specifications: Overall Length: 6.875″ Handle Length: 4.25″ Blade Length: 2.75″ Cutting Edge: 2.675″ Blade Width: 1″ Blade Thickness: 0.180″ Blade Material: 14C28N Blade Style: Tanto Handle Material: G-10 Scales Kydex Sheath With Belt Loop Weight: 3.7 oz From the designer, Zoltan Gero: As a ring knife the Wolfteeth was designed originally to be a concealable weapon retention tool in the first place. However after the initial tests, I realized it is just so much more capable. The handle and blade is canted for a more natural blade position if cutting, slashing or thrusting in both forward and reverse grip. This helps for a safer and more relaxed grip in both high risk situations as well as during the everyday cutting tasks. If you are an armed civilian, a police officer or an operator: this is the tool which can help you to win the fight for the gun. Whether it’s a pistol in the holster or a rifle on the sling you can trust the Wolfteeth. How To Wear: For weapon retention: Wear the wolfteeth on the weak hand side (10/2 o’clock) inside your waistband or on your kit, so you can maintain control of your primary weapon system with your strong hand at all times. For Everyday Utility or Self Defense: Just put the Wolfteeth inside your waistband with the IWB belt loop provided, in any position where you can conceal and reach comfortably and enjoy that you have a sharp little companion to offer protection, open boxes or slice a pizza at the office without too much attention. Wolfteeth Details: Blade Material: The blade of the Wolfteeth is crafted from 14C28N steel, known for its corrosion resistance, exceptional hardness and edge retention. Handle Material: The handle scales are constructed from G-10, a high-strength and lightweight composite material known for its excellent grip, durability and resistance to moisture and temperature variations. The finger ring along with the textured G-10 handle provides a secure and comfortable grip even in adverse conditions. Maintenance: Maintaining this knife is relatively straightforward, allowing for easy cleaning, lubrication and blade sharpening. 14C28N, while durable, requires maintenance to retain its sharpness. It is a must to keep your blade dry, clean and lubricated when not in use.
