Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp Quick Release

The Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp Quick Release is designed for riders who value precision, durability, and the ability to make fast saddle height adjustments without compromising frame safety. Machined in Wolf Tooth’s Minneapolis facility, this clamp blends clean aesthetics with a thoughtfully engineered quick release system that delivers consistent, repeatable clamping force across a wide range of frame materials. The low-profile ergonomic lever operates smoothly thanks to a bronze bushing at the pivot, allowing torque to be set accurately while keeping lever action light and controlled. This makes the clamp especially appealing for riders who frequently adjust saddle height for travel, bike fitting, or mixed-discipline riding. Once set, the clamp delivers secure, even pressure that is friendly with carbon, steel, aluminum, and titanium frames. Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp Quick Release Specs at a Glance Material: CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum body. Hardware: M5 stainless steel bolt with integrated spherical washer and bronze bushing. Clamping Height: 13.5mm. Torque Limit: 6 Nm maximum. Sizes: 28.6mm / 29–30mm / 31.8–32mm / 34.9–35mm / 36.4mm / 38.6–39mm. Weight: 34g–37.5g depending on size. Finish: Multiple anodized color options. Made In: USA. Design Benefits Smooth Quick Release Action: The bronze bushing ensures consistent lever feel and precise clamping adjustment. Frame-Friendly Clamping: Even pressure distribution makes it suitable for modern carbon as well as metal frames. Low-Profile Lever: Ergonomic design minimizes snag risk while remaining easy to operate. Precision Machining: Tight tolerances allow reliable fit on frames within ±0.5mm of the specified diameter. Compatibility & Setup Notes The clamp size should match the seat tube diameter of your frame, not the seatpost diameter. Frames may vary slightly due to paint and manufacturing tolerances; each size accommodates a ±0.5mm range. The clamp is not compatible with older Ibis carbon frames that use a proprietary curved seat collar, but it is compatible with newer carbon Ibis frames that use a conventional clamp design. For installation, apply a thin layer of grease inside the clamp on steel and aluminum frames, and follow frame manufacturer recommendations for carbon. Align the clamp slot with the frame slot, ensure the inner lip is fully seated on the seat tube, and tighten with the quick release lever closed using a 4mm hex wrench. Do not exceed 6 Nm. Final Take The Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp Quick Release is a premium solution for riders who want fast adjustability without sacrificing security or finish quality. With precise machining, smooth lever action, and broad compatibility, it’s a small but meaningful upgrade that reflects Wolf Tooth’s reputation for functional, rider-focused design.
