Wolf Tooth Performance EC Headsets - External Cup

Wolf Tooth Performance EC Headsets – External Cup are built for riders who want long-term durability, precise steering, and a clean, customizable finish. Machined in the USA from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum, these headsets deliver the same attention to detail Wolf Tooth is known for, with a focus on reliability in real-world riding conditions. The Performance EC headset uses black oxide–coated chromium steel bearings and features three layers of custom sealing to protect against water, dirt, and grit. This sealing system significantly extends bearing life, making it an excellent choice for bikes that see frequent foul-weather riding, trail abuse, or year-round use. Despite the robust construction, the headset remains lightweight and responsive, preserving precise front-end feel. Designed for frames that use external bearing cups, these EC headsets position the bearings outside the frame for compatibility with a wide range of modern and classic head tube standards. Available in multiple colors, the Performance EC Headset also allows riders to add a subtle color accent without sacrificing performance.
