Wolf Tooth Drop-Stop B Chainring SRAM Direct Mount 8-Bolt 3mm Offset

The Wolf Tooth Drop-Stop B Chainring SRAM Direct Mount 8-Bolt 3mm Offset is engineered for riders running SRAM’s modern direct mount cranksets who want maximum chain retention, long-term durability, and optimized chainline performance. Designed and manufactured in Minnesota, this precision-machined chainring delivers the reliability and performance mountain bikers demand when tackling aggressive trails, technical climbs, and high-power pedaling efforts. At the core of the design is Wolf Tooth’s proven Drop-Stop® B tooth profile, specifically developed to work with SRAM’s T-Type Transmission drivetrains. The alternating wide/narrow tooth pattern maintains exceptional chain retention even in rough terrain while also allowing effective mud and debris clearance. This helps reduce drivetrain noise and friction while maintaining smooth, reliable pedaling under demanding trail conditions. The chainring mounts directly to compatible SRAM cranksets using the 8-bolt direct mount interface, providing a lightweight and rigid connection that improves power transfer and simplifies installation. The 3mm offset positions the chainline correctly for modern Boost spacing, ensuring optimal drivetrain alignment for improved wear characteristics and more efficient chain engagement. Wolf Tooth machines this chainring from high-strength aluminum for an ideal balance of weight savings and durability. Precision CNC manufacturing ensures tight tolerances and consistent tooth profiles, while the anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance even in harsh riding environments. Like all Wolf Tooth components, it reflects the brand’s focus on precision engineering and rider-focused design. Whether upgrading an existing drivetrain or replacing a worn chainring, the Drop-Stop B chainring offers a dependable solution for riders seeking quiet operation, secure chain retention, and compatibility with SRAM’s latest mountain bike drivetrains.
