Wolf Tooth Disc Brake Adapter – Post Mount to Flat Mount – +20mm

This Wolf Tooth adapter lets you run flat mount brake calipers on a frame or fork that was originally designed for post mount brakes. It’s most commonly used when pairing road or gravel groupsets with mountain bike frames, where flat mount calipers are required. The +20mm offset changes rotor sizing, so this adapter isn’t a simple bolt-on swap—it’s a precise solution when you’re intentionally mixing standards and need correct brake alignment. Key Features • Converts post mount frames or forks to accept flat mount calipers • +20mm offset design for larger rotor compatibility • CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum • Lightweight and rigid construction • Tested with SRAM and Shimano brake systems Compatibility & Use Notes • Adapter type: Post Mount to Flat Mount • Offset: +20mm • Fits post mount native sizes: 140mm, 160mm, 180mm • Works with rotor sizes: 160mm, 180mm, 200mm • A 140mm post mount native requires a 160mm rotor • A 160mm post mount native requires a 180mm rotor • A 180mm post mount native requires a 200mm rotor • Requires minimum 13mm clearance between top of brake boss and frame/fork • Not compatible with flat mount frames or forks Service / Ownership Context This adapter changes both mounting standard and rotor size, so careful planning is required before installation. Rotor size, fork or frame clearance, and caliper compatibility must all be confirmed. Torque hardware evenly and verify caliper alignment before riding. Fit & Use Signals • You’re mounting flat mount brakes on a post mount frame or fork • You’re mixing road or gravel brakes with an MTB frame • You understand the required rotor size change • Not a fit if you want to keep the same rotor size • Not a fit if your frame or fork lacks the required clearance
