Wolf Tooth BSA Bottom Bracket

Wolf Tooth BSA Bottom Bracket is engineered from the ground up for riders who demand smooth performance, long-term durability, and true serviceability. Designed, machined, and assembled in Minnesota, this threaded BSA bottom bracket eliminates common creaks while optimizing bearing alignment, preload, and radial compression for low-drag efficiency in real-world riding conditions. Available for 24mm Shimano, 29mm DUB, and 30mm spindle cranksets, the Wolf Tooth BSA Bottom Bracket offers broad compatibility across road, gravel, and mountain platforms. An adjustable-width internal sleeve fits 68–73mm BSA shells, while optional sleeves are available for 83mm and 100mm shells. Precision-machined aluminum cups and custom polymer spindle bushings reduce metal-on-metal contact, a key factor in minimizing noise and long-term wear. The bearings are a standout feature. Wolf Tooth uses hardened AISI 52100 chrome bearing steel for both balls and races, offering higher surface hardness than stainless for improved durability, reduced rolling resistance, and quieter operation. An ACOSUR ZNA coating provides corrosion resistance comparable to or exceeding stainless steel, even after extended saltwater exposure. Combined with an extensive multi-stage sealing system, this bottom bracket is built to perform in mud, rain, and demanding trail conditions.
