Wolf Tooth Bottom Bracket Tools

Wolf Tooth Bottom Bracket Tools are precision-machined installation and removal sockets designed for modern external cup bottom brackets. Built in Minnesota from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, these tools are engineered for professional mechanics and detail-oriented home builders who demand accurate engagement, clean torque application, and long-term durability. Each socket features large finger notches that make it easy to start threading bottom bracket cups by hand—an important step in preventing cross-threading. For tool interface, every model includes both a 3/8" square drive and a 1" hex option, allowing use with ratchets, torque wrenches, or hex tools. Most versions also incorporate either a Shimano bearing preload tool or a 16mm hex interface for Race Face Cinch cranksets, increasing workshop versatility. Steel inserts are integrated for magnetic coupling compatibility with the Wolf Tooth Pack Wrench system, ensuring secure engagement when working in tight or travel situations.
