Witch Broom Pentacle Wiccan Pewter Necklace Pendant

This witch broom pentacle necklace sets a besom, the traditional witch's broom, across the five points of a pentacle. Long before flight ever entered the legend, the besom served a simple purpose. It swept ritual space clean before spellwork began. This pendant pairs two tools of clearing and balance. The pentacle's five points stand for earth, water, fire, air, and spirit. The besom across it marks the practice of preparing sacred ground before those elements are called on. They sometimes sweep clockwise afterward to seal the work. In everyday folk life, sweeping the threshold of a home carried the same idea. It marked a boundary between cultivated space and the wild world outside. Folklore and the Witch's Broom Handcrafted besoms appear in folk practice across many old European cultures. They were valued as tools of purification rather than transportation. Their later association with flight grew out of centuries of folklore. That lore layered onto a plain household object used to clear space and ward off harm. Pairing With Other Pentacle Pieces This design shares its pentacle base with the plain, leaf, owl, raven, and dragon variants. Choosing the version that speaks most to a given practice keeps the shared symbol consistent. Styling and Wearing At an inch and a half across, the pewter pendant makes a clear statement piece. It sits on its 33 in cord and suits anyone drawn to ritual cleansing symbolism. Care Notes Wipe clean with a dry cloth and keep away from moisture to protect the pewter surface.
