The Babalooneys "Winternationals / False Start" 45 [Racing Blue]

THE BABALOONEYS return with 2 revved-up instros on the Hi-Tide label, mixed & mastered by Shorty Poole (The Hula Girls, Shorty's Swingin' Coconuts)! Catch the band at Surfer Joe Summer Festival in Livorno, Italy on June 24! Recommended for fans of The Astronauts, The Lively Ones, Eddie & The Showmen IT'S A DRAG STRIP SHOWDOWN! Unless they're catching an outside break down the Saint-Lawrence river it can be hard to imagine 5 gents from landlocked Quebec City being caught up in the surfing craze. It only takes one listen to this platter to realize they are! That is the beauty of "surfing music". A great surf blast from a Fender guitar can take you there no matter where you happen to be geographically. Surfing music is the soundtrack of fun in all its many incarnations... Going fast at the drag strip! Carving a sidewalk on a skateboard! An afternoon in the powder at Le Massif Ski resort! The Action is all captured here by Canada's newest instrumental guitar sensations The Babalooneys! They apply their craft expertly and in every note you will feel the pounding surf, the acceleration of a slingshot dragster, the thrill of tackling a black diamond slope! So, good listener... paddle out, drop in and take a ride! First wave? Second wave? Third wave? Fouth wave? Whatever wave we're riding, the surfing music craze keeps on rolling in and The Babalooneys are hangin' ten! - Shaun Young CATALOG: HT-106 RELEASE DATE: June 16, 2023 Limited RACING BLUE colored vinyl, edition of 500
