About the Piece Rectangular glass tray measuring 11" by 14" with black hand drawn tree figures in a barren winter landscape, a companion piece to Winter Trees 2. This piece of vintage ephemera was drawn in Germany during the 18th century. Tray backed in black felt and signed by the artist. Do not immerse in water, wipe clean when dirty. Artisans working with Derian cut and collage the selected ephemera onto glass trays, wall plaques and paperweights to create the limited production pieces that are seen here. ABOUT THE ARTIST John Derian's decoupage is handmade in his New York studio using reproduced imagery from a vast collection of antique and vintage ephemera. Learn more about John Derian's work.
