You can choose anywhere from 2, 4 or 6 hours of instruction.  Wingsurfing is a safer sport than kiteboarding, making it easier to learn independently after mastering the basics. However, lessons are invaluable for speeding up your progress and can help you achieve a full season’s worth of experience in just a few sessions. What You’ll Learn In this course, you’ll progress through key stages of wingsurfing, with each lesson building upon the previous one. Here's what to expect: Lesson 1: Focus on Wing Fundamentals In the first lesson, We don’t worry about getting on the foil just yet—the focus is all about wing control. There’s a lot to learn when it comes to understanding how to manage the wing, maintain your stance, and navigate on the water. Most students can master the basics of wing control within this 3-hour session. Learn proper wing handling: Grasp how to generate power, steer, and balance with the wing. Master on-land training: Start with the fundamentals before hitting the water. By the end of this lesson, you’ll feel confident controlling the wing on the water, even if you’re not foiling yet. Many students feel this is enough to continue learning on their own. Others want to learn faster and stick with our program so they can ride on foil faster.  Lesson 2: Building on the Basics This lesson varies depending on your progress. Some students may need more time practicing wing control and mastering the basics, while others might be ready to experience their first short rides on foil. At this stage, don’t expect to transition or do anything fancy yet—getting used to the foil takes time, and we’ll guide you through each step. Refining your wing control: Hone your ability to control the wing in different conditions. First flights on foil: For some, this is where you’ll take your first small rides, but patience is key—everyone progresses differently. Remember, this stage is all about building comfort and consistency. You will be self-sufficient by this stage, but it does take time to learn how to achieve flight. Many students want to be competent riders and choose one more lesson. Lesson 3: Taking Flight By the time you reach the third lesson, most students are ready to achieve sustained flight on the foil. Somewhere between lessons two and three, you’ll have enough understanding to start learning independently. Faster learners may even reach this point by the end of lesson one, but remember—progress takes time and practice, and more lessons will help you learn faster. Sustaining flight: Learn how to maintain flight and control speed on the foil. Progressing to independence: After this stage, you’ll have the knowledge to practice wingsurfing on your own safely.
