Wing Floor Lamp

Created by Kenneth Bergenblad in the late 1970s, the Wing Floor Lamp moves easily between eras, balancing functional ingenuity with a form inspired by the gentle sweep of a bird's wing. Its architectural stem, grounded base and folded shade create a poised sculptural presence. A renewed tilt mechanism allows the shade to move vertically or horizontally for precise control over light and glare. The polished aluminum version has a white inner shade, while brown bronzed aluminum is paired with a black interior; both use a simple on-off switch without a dimmer. Audo Copenhagen's reintroduction preserves Bergenblad's original character while extending its adaptability for contemporary interiors. Wing is equally effective beside a reading chair, next to a sofa or as an atmospheric light in a quiet corner.
