Winch Damper Blanket

The Carbon Offroad Winch Damper Blanket is engineered to do one thing. It stops the recoil before it destroys your windscreen, your bonnet, or your radiator. Because Hope is Not a Strategy. A winch line, rope or strap used in a recovery holds a massive amount of kinetic energy. If that line snaps or a shackle fails you are not looking at a simple mistake. You are looking at a high-velocity projectile. The Verdict: If you are winching without a damper you are gambling with your rig. Do not be the guy who meant to buy one while standing over a smashed front end. Add to cart, stow it in your kit, and have the peace of mind that you are ready for anything. Features Physics-Defying Mass: Constructed from ultra-thick, heavy-duty material designed to catch a snapping line and drive it directly into the ground. It neutralizes the danger instantly. The "Weight-Up" Pockets: Standard blankets fly off in high winds. Ours features dual internal pockets so you can stuff them with sand or rocks. This ensures the damper stays exactly where the energy is highest. Night-Ops Visibility: Recoveries rarely happen in perfect daylight. Our high-vis reflective straps ensure you and your crew can see exactly where the line is when the headlamps come on. The Cheat Sheet Included: In a high-stress recovery your brain can get foggy. We have internally printed safety tips and instructions directly onto the blanket. It is a step-by-step guide to doing it right, right where you need it.
