Wilson Revolve Spin 17G Tennis String - Lime

The Wilson Revolve Spin 17G (1.25 mm) Lime (often categorized as Green or Neon Lime) is a high-spin co-polyester string engineered for aggressive, hard-hitting groundstrokers looking to maximize ball rotation, accuracy, and court coverage. By combining a 5-sided pentagonal profile with an ultra-slick UHMW (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight) polymer coating, this thinner 17-gauge string delivers crisp ball bite and rapid string snapback in a vibrant, high-visibility colorway. Performance Profile Pentagonal Mechanical Bite: The 5-sided geometric edges grip the outer felt of the ball upon impact, applying heavy rotation on topspin drives and slice groundstrokes. Low-Friction UHMW Snapback: Infused with an Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight coating that allows main strings to slide effortlessly across cross strings and spring back aggressively, boosting topspin RPMs. Enhanced Tactile Response: The thinner 1.25 mm diameter provides better ball pocketing, enhanced feedback, and a slightly softer impact response compared to the stiffer 16G (1.30 mm) version. Predictable Trajectory Control: Offers a firm, low-power string bed that keeps big-swinging shots from flying long, allowing players to swing with full confidence. Best Suited For Heavy Topspin Groundstrokers: Ideal for intermediate and advanced players with fast swing speeds looking for steep ball trajectories that dive quickly inside the lines. Players Wanting Extra Feel & Spin: Great choice for competitors who prefer a thinner, more pocket-friendly 17-gauge co-poly over a thicker 16G setup. High-Visibility Racquet Styling: Perfect for players looking to customize their racquet aesthetic with a bright, eye-catching neon string bed. Specifications String Category: Shaped Co-Polyester Monofilament. Material Composition: Crosslink Ester Polymer with low-friction UHMW additive. Shape Profile: Pentagonal (5-sided geometric edges).
