Wilson Revolve Spin 17G Tennis String - Black

The Wilson Revolve Spin 17G (1.25 mm) Black is a shaped, high-spin co-polyester string engineered for aggressive groundstrokers who prioritize maximum topspin generation, ball bite, and control. Featuring a pentagonal (5-sided) profile and a slick low-friction coating, this thinner 17-gauge variant offers enhanced playability, ball pocketing, and spin potential compared to its thicker 16G counterpart. Performance Profile Pentagonal Mechanical Bite: The 5-sided geometric shape bites sharply into the ball upon contact, imparting heavy RPMs on aggressive topspin shots and slices. Aggressive UHMW Snapback: Infused with an Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight (UHMW) low-friction polymer additive that lets the main strings slide easily across the cross strings and snap back instantly. Enhanced Feel & Pocketing: The thinner 1.25 mm diameter provides a slightly softer impact feel, better ball pocketing, and more tactile feedback than the stiffer 16G (1.30 mm) version. Controlled Trajectory: Offers a firm, deader string bed response that prevents high-velocity shots from sailing long, allowing players with fast swing speeds to swing freely. Best Suited For Heavy Topspin Groundstrokers: Ideal for intermediate to advanced players with long, fast swing styles looking to drop aggressive shots deep inside the lines. Players Seeking Maximum Spin & Feel: Perfect for competitors who want higher ball bite and a softer impact response than a traditional 16G poly string. Stealth Aesthetic Setup: Great option for players who want high-performance spin in a sleek, monochromatic black colorway. Specifications String Category: Shaped Co-Polyester Monofilament.
